Lace Printing

This week I've been feeling a bit lost as to how to progress with my subject matter. I've been working with wood and assemblage for quite a while and wanted to move onto a other materials in order to help represent my thoughts and ideas. Photographs from my new camera

Having been longing for a new Pentax K1000 SLR camera for a couple of years, I was lucky enough to have been bought one for my birthday this year! My last Pentax succumbed to the age-old problem of the wind-on mechanism breaking, and having dismantled the camera and losing a few of the crucial bits, it got resigned to the bin. I found a couple of old films that had long since expired in the back of one of my drawers and thought I'd get back into swing of things and re-introduce myself into film photography, with surprisingly pleasing results!

A Facade of One's Own - 8.02.2011

Following a very successful exhibition and opening (yay!) here are images from the exhibition held on the 8/02/1990 with work from myself, Aileen McEwen and Rebecca Bracey.

Studio

I thought I'd just upload a quick update of the work in my studio and how my work looks when it's together in one place. Using the blue gloss paint on some of my wood pieces has allowed me to see how colour affects how a work is read. I want to investigate more into the use of different colours and the impact they have.
